Richard Denneny Managing Director

Brief History

Stone Edge was formed in 2007 after the managing directors had served 12 years working on Royal households and large-scale civic buildings in London for the capitals premier stone masonry specialist.

After relocating back to the North West it became apparent that there was a shortage of high-end stonemason contractors within the local area with the knowledge and skills of building conservation gained from two decades of conserving large civic buildings in the capital.

It was clear from the outset that the main focus of Stone Edge was to build a company name that was reputable and honest.

Therefore, the focus is on type and quality of stoneworks rather than quantity.

Stone Edge’s aim is to provide the very highest quality of building conservation stonemasonry to clients.

All natural stone masonry and associated stoneworks are carried out in a manner that ensures a standard befitting of historic structures and to those who gave their time to create the buildings that we enjoy.

Since the company’s inception, Stone Edge has completed some high profile building restoration projects and has had some very happy high profile clients.
