St Mary’s & All Saints in Whalley

There has been a church situated on the site of St Mary’s & All Saints in Whalley, Lancashire dating back to the 1600’s.

Sections of the church have what appear to be pieces of Saxon gravestones within the wall structure.

Stone Edge were employed to repair sections of the East tracery window and carry out sections for re-pointing around the upper sections of the church tower.

The works included:

• Produce full CAD drawings for East tracery window and carving schedules for the replacement of mid transom.
• Fully scaffold West tower
• Masonry repairs and re-pointing to tower
• Structural extension works to North entrance in readiness for its use being turned into kitchen facility.
