Eastbrook Hall, formerly the Methodist Cathedral of the North, was opened in 1904 but was empty since the 1980s and a major fire in 1996 left it derelict, burnt out and roofless.
It is an iconic building in Little Germany, which is a 20-acre conservation area in the heart of Bradford.
In 2007 whilst mid-refurbishment the façade began to move and Stone Edge was recruited to carefully dismantle the entire façade including cupola and move to storage.
The façade stone restoration was completed in 2008 with all many fire-damaged detail being hand carved and replaced by Stone Edge.
These included all pediment arches, arcoteria stones to cupola and cushioned shield inlays.
The project was a great undertaking by all concerned and Stone Edge felt an immense sense of pride in restoring the wonderfully flamboyant Edwardian masterpiece.
