Colne Memorial

Stone Edge restore several memorials each year as part of their annual maintenance.

The walk through memorial on Albert Road in Colne is particularly special to us due to its local proximity to our business.

The work required after full scaffold access was erected was to fully clean the memorial using a combination of nebulous intermittent water cleaning and super heated steam for the sandstone plinths and steps.

The Portland stone was restored insitu where previous poor cementitious repairs had been carried out and failed.
