Stone Edge opens for business in London

Leading stone masonry specialist, Stone Edge, has opened a new office at Cannon Wharf in South London.

The firm, based in Nelson, Lancashire, said the expansion was prompted by an increasing workload of national projects.

Since launching 5 years ago, Stone Edge has grown significantly, thanks to its innovative and respectful approach to historic building restoration.

Richard Denneny, Managing Director at Stone Edge, said: “The opening of the London office is a reflection of our steady growth of the business.

“Having an additional office in London allows us to meet our clients’ needs much more effectively, both in the capital and nationally.

“It makes sense to have an office in London to manage our southern projects more efficiently.”

The new office, situated on Cannon Wharf in central London, will be the hub of Stone Edge’s southern operations.

It will establish a presence in the capital as the company takes on an increasing number of building restorations in the south of England.

Stone Edge’s expert stonemasons, carvers and letter cutters are highly experienced craftsmen and all work is finished to a very high standard.

They specialise in the repair of historic buildings, structures and monuments, from listed buildings to World Heritage Sites.

This building restoration expertise has been called upon for a wide variety of heritage projects, including abbeys, industrial monuments, churches, bridges, prisons, civic halls and sculptures.

Projects Stone Edge has been involved in include galleries, Banks, Courthouses, historic mansions, clock towers, prisons and churches.
