HRH The Prince of Wales, as President of The Prince’s Regeneration Trust, officially opened Eastbrook Hall in Little Germany, Bradford.
After the opening ceremony His Royal Highness inspected the impressive restoration of the landmark building.
This is the second time The Prince has visited Little Germany. During his first visit many of the buildings were unused and the hall was in a derelict state.
This visit led to The Prince encouraging his charity, The Prince’s Regeneration Trust, to become involved in the regeneration of the area.
The Eastbrook Hall project was undertaken through a working partnership of The Prince’s Regeneration Trust, Bradford Centre Regeneration, English Partnerships, Bradford City Council, Regen 2000, Yorkshire Forward and Aldersgate Estates.
The extensive and pain-stakingly detailed restoration work by the partnership has seen this historic building returned to its former architectural glory while ensuring its future as a commercial and residential building for generations to come.
